For example, Laser Genesis patients should always apply sun protection and use gentle skincare products to keep the skin moisturized and fortified against environmental stressors.

The sun protection component is especially important immediately following your Laser Genesis treatment sessions, as your skin will be more sensitive to UV damage during this time. Broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher on a daily basis is a non-negotiable. Avoid harsh exfoliants for the first week or two (depending on skin response and provider input) after treatment, focusing instead on hydrating serums and gentler moisturizers.
