Terri Harper’s Story
After the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom while her children were young, Terri decided to step back into nursing when she joined her husband’s practice, Vein Specialists of the South (VSS). While working at VSS she developed an expertise in sclerotherapy, the treatment of spider veins. This led to a career in non-surgical cosmetic and anti-aging procedures.
Shortly thereafter, Dr. Harper and Terri opened Spa Medical, the cosmetic arm to VSS, in downtown Macon. In addition to being the clinical director and founder at Spa Medical, she developed a course on Sclerotherapy and became a clinical instructor for Sclerotherapy, Botox, and Dermal Fillers.
She is recognized both nationally and internationally for her courses and serves as an independent contractor for Aesthetic Advancements, Inc. and as a clinical instructor for VSS’s Comprehensive Vein Training Center.
Terri and her husband, Dr. Ken Harper, are huge supporters of the downtown revitalization movement in Macon. They enjoy supporting the arts and events at Mercer University.
Terri and her family are very involved at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Macon.
Through Spa Medical, Terri Harper has hosted women missionaries for an afternoon at the spa and Christmas at the Spa with the Dove Center, a residential program for women who have been victims of domestic violence.
